Solved

Hi - I have just switched PCs (from Windows 10 to Windows 11) and have developed a new problem > when I share content on a second screen (e.g. PowerPoint slide show) my Zoom gallery window disappears on my main screen and I am left with just a floating control bar - I need to be able see all the meeting participants when sharing in this way as I often share my second screen throughout a meeting - any suggestions for fixing this? Help please!

Can you tell me how to connect the Zoom neural network?

Hi, When someone share pptx to me by zoom, why the ppt file saved no extention type? I need to manually choose ppt app to open it.. Thanks.

My apologies in advance — we’re in the middle of switching over to Zoom Rooms company‑wide, and I’m still climbing the learning curve.I set up the first office yesterday and the core setup works, but I’m running into one issue: the controller/room doesn’t seem to be allowed into Google Meet calls.  The host has to allow the room in, which we don’t want..I’ve read up on interoperability and everything appears to be enabled. I even generated the token in Google… I just have no idea where that token is supposed to go. Has anyone seen this before or have ideas?

Sometimes, I use a VPN when I use Zoom. This VPN chooses a server in another country. However, I don't use the VPN at all times. This means that sometimes I use my login credentials while being in my country and other times in another country.  Could this make Zoom think I am breaking the license terms of point "1.2 Prohibition on Sharing"? Because I think it may feel like I have connected from different places, with two different IPs. I know people can travel, and you are in the same situation, but sometimes I forget to activate the VPN, and I connect to Zoom just 5 minutes after I realise I didn't activate the VPN. When I activate it, I am suddenly in another country in 5 minutes. I guess Zoom can differentiate one situation from another, but I want to avoid surprises.

When I log into Zoom, I can see everyone.  This morning I could see everyone but couldn’t hear them.  They could see me but couldn’t hear me.  I logged back out and back in and then they could hear me, I could see and hear them, they couldn’t see me.  I checked both the camera and microphone and both were working.  I have external speakers and checked them, and they were working.  I logged out and logged back in and set a meeting for my friend who lives up the road from me.  Same thing; she could see and hear me; I could see her, couldn’t hear her.  Not sure what to do.

AI Companion NOT making TranscriptsAI Companion is installed, all buttons turned on, activeYesterday I recorded four different meetings. I turned on AI Companion and I turned off AI Companion each time.It is within the 24 hour window. Recording and Transcripts / Transcripts -> Nothing in Transcripts. Zero. "No results"Where are my transcripts? How can I access them?  Thanks.

Please provide an option to restore the classic Home layout where today's calendar was displayed beside the New Meeting, Join, Schedule, Share Screen, and My Notes buttons. The new layout moves the meeting list below the action buttons, making it harder to quickly scan upcoming meetings and reducing the efficiency of the Home screen. It forces you to make the app window larger and take up valuable screen real estate, whereas before I could get the same info on a smaller screen more efficiently.  Thank you!

I trimmed a Zoom meeting down to 13 mins, but I thought I was deleting the 13-minute section. Is there a way to get back the full meeting? Please help!!

This question for my friend she is really beginner and she is a community leader and host and she want to go all of them abandon and as a beginner which website or tutor session you recommended covered the video setting screen controlling and extra and I want to know how to use the breaker room as well

Our room was under construction for about 6 months and just came back online. When it came back on we keep getting the error code in the image. We have a Zoom room connected to a Crestron brain. I saw that error code 5 means a mismatch between the Crestron and Zoom. I changed my Zoom room to mountain time, and the engineer changed the Crestron unit to the correct time, but we're still getting this error.I'm also trying to update the Crestron firmware through Zoom but it's getting stuck and timing out.If the time is correct on the Crestron, could a network switch be getting in the way?Any ideas? Thanks!

Hoping someone can help me out with this.  I started the recording at the beginning of the meeting. We got the standard audio notification that the meeting was being recorded. Then over an hour later the same audio notification came on letting us know the meeting is now being recorded.  There was no notice that the recording stopped.  There was no cohost, only me, and I didn’t stop or pause the recording. There was no internet connection issue.  That hour gap is not recorded. There are two separate recordings, the first 20 minutes and the last 25 minutes.  An hour in between is missing.  What would have caused this issue and how can it be avoided moving forward?  Any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing an issue with Zoom Workplace Desktop 7.1.0 (Windows). Before updating, I was able to use Zoom's Live Transcript ("Show Captions" and "View Full Transcript") in both the main meeting room and breakout rooms. Since updating to version 7.1.0, the transcript only works in the main room. As soon as I join a breakout room, the transcript is no longer available, and I can't view or save it.I'm a participant, and this has happened across multiple meetings with different hosts, so it doesn't appear to be specific to a single meeting or account.Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this a known bug in Zoom Workplace 7.1.0, or has transcript support in breakout rooms been changed intentionally? If there's a workaround, I'd really appreciate hearing about it.Thanks!

Hello,I have installed the Zoom Client (version 7.0.5) via DEB (I also tried the older SNAP version). The client won't let me log in. I use SSO to log in. I am redirected to the Zoom web page where I can log in successfully and even start a meeting. However, the app does not recognise the information about my login. There is no error message - starting via terminal won’t give any hints either.Any suggestions?

I wanted to trim the last three minutes of a Zoom cloud recording. I thought I was supposed to mark the part of the recording to “Trim”, instead I only have remaining those 3 minutes that I didn’t want. I looked for guidance and could only find advice that I was supposed to return to the video and click on “restore”  there is no such option. I have now lost the entire recording except for the part i don’t want! How do i get it back?

Hi Zoom Team and Community,I’d like to request a new feature to improve daily workflows:Please add an option to change the presence status (“Available”, “Do Not Disturb”, “Away”) using user-defined shortcuts and global hotkeys.Currently, this requires multiple manual clicks via the profile menu. Many collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Slack) already support quick status switching, even through peripheral devices like Stream Deck or macro keys. Why it’s useful:Reduces interruptions and manual stepsAligns with existing audio/video shortcutsSaves time in hybrid or remote work setupsEnables automation with hardware buttons or productivity keyboardsPlease consider adding this to make Zoom even more efficient for power users. Happy to discuss ideas with other community members!Thank you for your support!SBardosi

Hello Zoom Team and Community,I'm reaching out to request an important feature for Arabic-speaking users of Zoom Workplace.Currently, when we type messages in Arabic (especially when mixed with English), the chat interface does not display them properly — the text alignment is left-to-right, which causes confusion and makes the messages hard to read. This affects not only readability but also the overall communication experience for Arabic users. It would be incredibly helpful if Zoom Workplace could support **right-to-left (RTL)** text rendering in chat, similar to how other platforms handle Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian. This is essential for teams working in multilingual environments and would make Zoom more inclusive and user-friendly.I hope this can be passed on to the product team, and I’d appreciate any updates or workarounds from the community in the meantime.Thank you!– Salah

Hi all, I have a user who has limited options in Zoom Scheduler, as you can see in image 1. Myself and others have more features available within the Scheduler, as shown in image 2. I have confirmed that we all have the exact same 'Zoom Workplace Enterprise Plus' license. I would like to know if there is something that needs to be enabled in the admin portal specifically for this user?Third image shows all licenses and features for the user in question and this is the same for all others. Thanks
