I bought a MAC book second hand and was so excited to use it, partially because I am a reiki master and offer virtual healing. I had used zoom several years before in my old sales job and much preferred it to Teams.   To my horror, zoom wouldn't work. I couldn't understand it. I have discovered that the MAC book is banned as the previous owner obviously did something to break the rules. I have emailed and emailed and explained and explained and they still won't lift the ban.   I can use it on my phone but that just won't work for healing logistically. It also proves I've done nothing wrong as surely my email would be banned as well and it isn't.   It may be second hand but I spent a fair amount of money and it's not like I can take it back (the guy is in the states now I'm told).   I think it's more frustrating than anything, I just want to use the platform as it would be the best one for virtual healing, I haven't done anything wrong but worst of all, I am just goi

Hello, I would like to make a feature request: Could it be possible to set for a recurring meeting an option that automatically makes an attendee video off when joining, just like the audio? They could then open the video after, if needed, but it would be handy for some security and managing a webinar, especially with older people who often join ignoring the zoom client prompts as if they had a mirror and they are not realising they are broadcasting their image. On the other hand I still need attendees who are able to manage their video to be able to open it easily without managing them one by one.  Thank you!

Hello Community,  I recorded a meeting locally, but was unable to download it directly after meeting completed.  A message said that I could download later, but now I can't find the recording.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can access the recording?  Thanks.

HI! I can't convert a recorded video from my desktop anymore. I used to be able to record meeting then when I click Stop, a folder appears on desktop as usual but the files in the folder are not video files and I get an error message to find application to use. Never had problem before.  I was always able to convert video, while the meeting continued to play video back on shared screen.  Any guidance is appreciated. thanks.

Having trouble with "sound activation"? I can't hear a participant until after they've said a few words or when they project their voice. There are some participants who speak softly that I can never hear at all. I've tried changing Zoom's background noise suppression level but there is no option to save changes and when I go back to check, it is back to auto/default. I facilitate a weekly support group and it's really awkward when I can't hear someone. I've tried using cc but that is delayed. I've updated the audio drives on my computer but that hasn't helped. Zoom technical support is not available with the level of service I have. 

I believed to have setup the phone system, however, all inbound calls go directly to voicemail. Unless, they know my extension. Can you set it up so that all calls can be answered unless I decline and then they go to VM?  Thanks, in advance.

The article indicated you must be on one of the below licensing plans. If we were to upgrade our licensing for our hosts, would the 'attendee' in the meeting also need to be licensed in this way in order to view translated captions. It is our intention to have external attendees.ZoomOne Business Plus or ZoomOne Enterprise Plus account2. Is this definitely translation? i.e.  we are speaking in English, and the attendee can choose to see translated captions in French.   Appreciate any advice

I've been regularly opening zoom recordings sent to me over the last year by my teacher.  But in the few days, the link fails to open,  leading a message that says that 'The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported'.  Other people on the course can still open their links. My system is macOS Can anyone tell me why this failure is happening and what I can do about it.  Thanks.

I have been doing a lot of research on Zoom AI Companion regarding compliancy with HIPAA and FERPA. I don't know what features I can and can't have enabled with the AI Companion, while still being HIPAA compliant. I would also like to know what features would need to be enabled and disabled to be compliant with FERPA. I've found quite a few different answers but they all seem to be outdated. If someone could just let me know the list of features that can and cannot be used with Zoom AI  and still be compliant that would be great.

I host Zoom meetings between 10-20 hours per week (without screen sharing). I record all calls locally on my machine. Most of the time, it records high res, but occasionally it does not. Can anyone tell me why? It's kinda frustrating.

Hi. I have been asked to download 'zoom client' in order to record a presentation for a convention. but i cant find that option on the zoom web page. what is the equivalent for that? 

I can't change my topic name.  It just says Zoom Meeting, and is grayed out.

Is it possible for me to set up a meeting where people can meet without me?   Normally, we all meet together, but we have a special project going on where I'd like to allow folks to discuss their portions of the project with each other whenever they want - day or night, they decide the dates and times, and I don't have to be there to start the meeting.  We anticipate needing this through the end of this year.  I have a Zoom One Pro account. I am the owner of two Workplace Pro accounts for our small business. I want to transfer one of the licensed users from account A to account B. The user has no unique settings, data or recordings that need to be brought over. He will use the same business email address. I just want him to be a user in account B, not account A.  Do I delete the user from account A and then assign him a license from account B? Or can I transfer his license from account A, thereby avoiding purchasing a license in account B?

Hello all, I have been logging in to Zoom everyday without any issues until yesterday when I used the same account and same password, and it displayed the above error message "An error with reCAPTCHA occured. Please try again.".  I can log in using the Zoom App without any issues. However, I need to log into the browser version to download video recordings and unable to log in. Any help, please?

I created a meeting link and sent it to my guests. Now, the meeting and the link are nowhere to be found in my upcoming meetings. And it's not my Personal Room link. What has happened?

Hello. I have been recording to cloud zoom of my team meetings or my own meeting for a training video.  Unfortunately, when I download the video, it shows up in a very low quality, often 640x350 resolution or lower and it nearly looks pixilated.  How can I fix this?

Hey everyone! We have some of the Poly phone handsets to accompany our Zoom phone and I wasn't sure if you guys had encountered the following issues and/or if anyone has a workaround! We've found that when you change the outbound caller ID in the Zoom client, the phone still won't make calls out from that number, even after resetting and seems bound by whatever settings it was given upon initial setup. Another thing we can't seem to figure out is how to transfer directly to a voicemail from the handset? All of these processes are so straight-forward in the Zoom client/web app, but not on the hardware! Any insight at all is very much appreciated!

All, I'm looking to set the same time zone on all of our physical phones in our organization. All of the phones are located in the same time zone.How do I go about setting the time zone for all of the current (and future) phones so they default to the time zone we're in? I've been able to change them one at a time, however, I have too many phones to do this individually. Thanks!
