Thank you, this fixes it entirely and thank you for letting me know abut the right or middle click to drag. That makes navigation even better.

This is a bigger issue than it seems. I can't get my team to use whiteboards specifically because of this limitation. They'd rather fumble with shapes in a Google Slide while listening to music than use the objectively better whiteboard in silence.
