CD hymnal music in the background for church cannot be heard on Zoom audience to sing along

When I turn on the CD player behind me to have the zoom audience sing along, for the past three weeks they are saying they cannot hear the music playing. This is a new problem, I have had music playing for 3 years with no trouble!CAN ANYONE HELP?
