Screenshare device audio not working on ipad but works on iphone screenshare, same account

screen sharing on my new ipad but there's no audio/sound from the videos that I play on youtube or instagram. They all play audio fine when I disconnect zoom. When I set up screenshare, i've clicked the audio for device both ways with no sound at all...
