Using my phone on a Zoom 1 on 1, didn't record audio or video.

I used my iPhone 12pro to hold a Zoom meeting one on one and selected record audio and video, and it looked like it was recording, but on playback, there was dead air for the whole 1.5-hour meeting on Video and Audio. ?? What?
