Using an old Chrome Lap Top

It says Zoom is no longer supported after August of this year, and while still working, prevented me from fully participating in a local government event due to the outdated Zoom software or interface or something that I was using

I have no idea what this is all about, have used zoom just a few times, but would like to update or change or do whatever I need to use zoom better on this old Chrome laptop

Hi @AlexanderSeth,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Community! Unfortunately, Chrome is deprecating support for ChromeOS apps and therefore they are being phased out across all operating systems by November 5, 2022, Zoom has released the Zoom for Chrome PWA (Progressive Web App), which is intended to replace the ChromeOS Zoom app.

I have attached some reference articles below that go over this in more detail, as well as how to use the new PWA for your meetings:

1. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/213298746-Getting-started-with-the-Zoom-for-Chrome-OS-app

2. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4403638230925-Using-Zoom-for-Chrome-PWA

Thank you!
