Recurring Meeting in Google Calendar

Has anyone else encountered a problem with scheduling recurring meetings in Google Calendar? This past week, I have scheduled a number of recurring meetings in Zoom, went to my calendar to set them up as recurring, send out the calendar invites, and find that it will not copy the changes over the scheduled weeks. That is, I scheduled a meeting to occur every Wed evening for 6 weeks. This meeting involves the same set of people to whom I sent an invite. Historically, I am able to make the change just once to the first meeting and have it copied to all 6 weeks. Now, I have to go in each week, individually, to make the desired change(s).

Any suggestions would be helpful.

No luck. I was hoping someone had the problem and figured it out. It is a bit frustrating.
