Jpg/j[eg does not automatically open when sending thru zoom chat

According to the dtabase of help etc, if you drag a picture (I assume a jpeg or a jpg is ok?) into the chat window in a zoom meeting, it should automatically show in the chat.

When I do this, the chat window just has a little picture icon and other chat members have to click it to open it in an external program such as microsoft picture viewer or whatever.

How do I get the actual jpg to open IN the chat window, like it does in facebook messenger chat?

Hi @ASmith! That is the expected functionality for sending files in the in-meeting chat. However, we welcome you to submit any feedback at https://zoom.us/feed 🙂
