Chat Room text retrieval

Has anyone been able to recapture the chat texts after you've ended your hosted Zoom meeting?

If the meeting wasn't recorded and/or set-up to save chat, there isn't a way to retroactively gather the past chat history.

You can follow the steps in the link below to ensure future meetings are set to automatically save chat info. Keep in mind if you're not the host of the meeting, saving chat could be disabled for you as a participant.

Thanks for this.  I figured this was the case.  I'll be sure and set up the system to save the chat.  Some meetings have little or no chat and some unexpectedly have a lot.  Thanks again
