Chat Automatically Scrolling to the top

We are facilitating Zoom meetings with over 100 people. We want the Chat to automatically scroll to the bottom of the Chat or to the most recent post as it has done in the past. Today, we had 190 people, so the chat was filling up quickly and we couldn't find recent chats.  Scrolling down through hundreds of posts made it absolutely impossible to see them all. How can we correct this?

I need a solution for this too! very frustrating when you are trying to conduct a meeting and now having to scroll all the way down. Why was this changed?????

Bumping this. I have similar issues with the chat when I try to scroll, it jumps around. Makes it very hard to read the chat

The issue still exists. Avery time I click on a chat area, it auto-scrolls up. Very uncomfortable to use!
