I'm wanting to do a daily check in via satellite phone with someone in Antarctica. He has no wifi - it will be phone-in only. Will it work? And which country number do I have him call into?

Do you want to make a simple phone call using Zoom Phone to someone that has a satellite phone in Antarctica or do you want that person to join a call (might be a group call) or a meeting using his satellite phone (thus requiring him to Dialing in by Phone )?
There is no local number to call available for Antarctica but depending on the satellite version the person is using they can call any numbers anywhere in the world but maybe call a number on the country base the person is (see more next).

As for other telecommunications options it depends on what base the person is, since each base is like the territory of the country that operates it.
