some of my clients that have zoom account. click on the link provide to them. and unless they've actually logged into zoom through the actual website, they get redirected to a registration for meeting link that only has a link a link at the bottom to register There should also be one for just login. especially some of the older people are having real problems with this. is there any way to put in a register for meeting or login option.

While scheduling a meeting you have the option to require registration or not. If that option is checked, it applies to all those who will be attending. There is not a way to make exceptions to this.
