Hello,

I just had a meeting with another person and "3rd person" was fathom note taker.  The video was recorded with very low resolution.  I don't see where to turn on HD recording in my settings.  I have the business plan.  Can you someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

You don’t mention if this was a Computer/Local recording or a Cloud recording, nor which of the several possible video files you’re looking at.

There are many factors affecting the resolution of the recordings, including bandwidth and settings. If you can provide the identification of which file you are looking at and the resolution of the recording itself, that’s a good starting point for discovery.

There are two settings for video quality: user level and account level

Hi @AlainMartinez here is an article which may be useful:

https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066421

It appears that zoom supports three recording resolutions:

360p (640p x 360p)

720p (1280p x 720p) — HD

1080p (1920p x 1080p) — full HD

360p seems to be the default?

Like @Ray_Harwood mentioned there are many variables which result in image quality.

There are two explicit settings for video quality: user level (set in app) and account level (set in Zoom web portal).

The HD video setting seems to result in either 720p or 1080p depending on other factors like

whether you choose cloud or local recording, internet bandwidth, and computer performance.

I hope this helps? 😀
