On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I cant stand having a 40 min timer because now at my night school i have 4 classes with the same teacher and they are done with it also so if you could make the timer 4 hours and then you zoom people would have much much more people using the app and you would be making more money.

Hi, @BRENT4,

Attendees don't need a paid license, and can attend meetings of any duration.  The meeting host needs to have a paid account to expand the maximum meeting length from 40 minutes to 30 hours, and is only $14.99USD/month for a Pro account.  It's not that expensive for someone using it regularly; there a cheaper options out there for online meetings if your instructor doesn't want to have the benefits of a paid Zoom account.
