On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

polls not active in desktop client only when using ZOOM in a browser

Hi there,

I am a licensed ZOOM user, I have the latest version installed as a desktop client. I have created polls in a scheduled meeting.

When starting this meeting from my browser, the polls icon is present and I can launch the polls.

When starting this meeting (hosted by me) from the desktop client, the polls icon is missing from the controls (bottom line). If I assign a co-host, the polls icon appears for the co-host and the polls can be launched by the co-host.

Can you guess, why I can not see the polls icon in my desktop client?

Thanks,

Csaba

It could be your screen resolution and Zoom has tucked Polls under the More button in the toolbar.
