Hi Jacques_H,

This is a well-known Zoom screen-sharing issue, especially with Microsoft Word on Windows and macOS. The black screen happens because Word uses hardware acceleration / protected rendering, which Zoom sometimes cannot capture correctly.

Here's what you can do -

  • Share “Entire Screen” instead of “Microsoft Word”
  • Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration in Microsoft Word
  • Check Screen Recording Permission

Another work around is share the document as PDF or upload in Zoom Docs before sharing.
