Zoom audio not working properly

Hi,
I really hope someone can help me!
I have been having audio problems on zoom, although I use maximum volume the audio is still really quiet.
Having tried what I feel is everything suggested I upgraded to the latest version of zoom 'Zoom Workplace'  and it is worse!  The audio is now clipped and I can hear nothing clearly.  Zoom participants can hear me fine.
I'd be really grateful for some help.  Thank you.

I am having the same problem! I spent one hour on the phone with HP on my brand new business laptop that I purchased directly from them. The agent took over my computer with my permission. He agreed that my audio is working - both the speakers and the microphone - for other purposes, but not with Zoom Workplace. The HP agent uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom Workplace, and updated all of the drivers on my Windows 11 pc. When we attempted audio to test in Zoom, there was something like a click or a short "blip". I have not tested an actual session, but will try that as well. Zoom, please help!
