Zoom 5.10.4: The “select a window or application you want to share” dialogue box fails to appear after “share screen” tool is clicked by the participants,

I got the zoom link below where the “multiple participants can share simultaneously” is checked by the host.

Now, as I clicked (as a participant) the “share screen” button, the select a window or application you want to share” dialogue box doesn’t pop up! What could be the issue here?

I have another case where the “select a window or application you want to share” dialogue box fails to appear as the HOST clicks “share screen” as per the attached screenshot. The screen is shared without having "the select a window or application you want to share” dialogue box popped up
