Video format issues in meeting recordings

Hello, I have a problem, recording meetings on my pc sometimes it happens that the recording format is not 16-9 but 4-3 in practice when I upload it to youtube it is much smaller. I did not understand what can depend on changing format by itself. Is there anyone who can help me?

Thank you

Hi, @undamaris

Is your display 4:3?
If so, the recording file itself may be recorded in 4:3.

Using a 16:9 display may work.

A colleague recently asked me if it was possible to record 4:3 size video with Zoom instead of 16:9, so I experimented.

I shared a 4:3 video screen by selecting a range in Share Screen, and when I performed the recording, the recorded file was 4:3.
This shows that Zoom recordings create files that depend on the size of the screen being shared.

Thank you very much for your reply  Ohkawa

My monitor is a 16: 9 and as I have already written, normally when I record meetings the recorded format is 16: 9 and it suits me, but other times (few) it records in 4: 3 format although I do not make any changes, I just can't figure out what to do to always have a 16: 9 recording

Good evening and thanks for your attention
