We use a Canon VIXIA HF R800 feeding video through a USB video capture device to an ASUS chromebook.
The video is stretched vertically. In the Windows app this is corrected by selecting the HD video setting, but this setting does not appear in the Chrome PWA.
Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks.....

Same problem with Chromebook's own video.

Same issue with a Lenovo Chromebook and the Vixia HF R800.
Contacted Zoom support today and was told the problem is related to the limitations of Chromebooks. I did test a Logitech C920 and the aspect ratio is ok with it. The Logitech C920 is described as being Chromebook compatible. Having said that, when I go into zoom video settings on the chromebook there is no option to change the aspect ratio with the Logitech camera like there is with a windows PC.
The chromebook version of zoom has fewer settings.
Too bad the Sony comes up with the wrong aspect ratio on chromebook - I like it better for a video camera.
It does make me wonder if the Sony results would be differrent depending on which video capture adpater was used?
