I use Zoom for teaching online piano lessons. With nearly everyone the original sound setting works very well, but with one pupil, as soon as he enables original sound his audio becomes almost inaudibly quiet. He's using a Samsung M53 for the meeting. He says he can't access a microphone audio level setting on the phone once the meeting is running. Any ideas?

"Voice Focus" to isolate a user's voice during calls. Although this is similar to Apple's "Voice Isolation" feature, it's called Voice Focus on Samsung phones. This is BEFORE Zoom in the audio chain and needs to be turned off.
If this works please click accept as a solution.

Thanks very much for this suggestion. The voice of my pupil goes very soft as well as the piano though when we use Original Sound, so I'm not certain it will work. We'll try it though.
