Sharing video with audio on Zoom for Linux -- audio not working

I'm running Debian 11 with kernel 5.10.0-16-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.127-2 (2022-07-23) x86_64 GNU/Linux. When I try to share video with audio / optimized for video, there is no audio on my end as host, and other members say they hear a loud noise. I think maybe zoom is incorrectly combining the wrong devices with the latest release. Is there a way I could manually select what streams are being combined in a zoom combined device for audio? Not sure how zoom could have messed this up so badly. It has gradually gotten worse with each release to the point now that it doesn't work at all.

I have the same problem on Fedora 36 (current kernel is 5.18.13-200.fc36.x86_64) with Zoom (current version

5.11.3 (3882)) as a Flatpak install.

the new version 5.11.9 fixes the sharing audio select issue. you can change the speaker you want when you are sharing with audio. @uomosenzanome @Jan91
