I have the same problem, although not with an oversaturated screen. Indeed it was fixed some time back, but now it has come back...

Yes! I can confirm that it works provided that one has
"Settings->Share screen ->Advanced->Screen caputre on Wayland = Pipewire mode".

Thank you @MGSR ! I updated to 6.2.11.5069, and now the content of my screen is shown correctly, I can stop sharing without issues too. The only thing missing is sharing particular windows. A Pipewire Mode allows me to share a selected piece of the screen (wow! I didn't know about this option), but it's still not the same as selecting a window for sharing. Looking forward to seeing the implementation of the full functionality available with X.Org or Windows.
