Renamed recording help

After recording my zoom to my computer, I renamed the recorded meeting video file so I would be able to remember which one it was. Then I went to zoom to share the link and it said “unable to play because file was renamed” but I don’t know how to restore the original file name so zoom can retrieve it!

I just did the same thing and I see there have never been any answers - is there anyone out there who can help.  I need to send this recording to my peers and I can not open it.  Can it be retrieved somehow?

I renamed a zoom. How can I locate it to watch video?

I found the answer by starting a meeting, chosing record, end the meeting, let it convert, notice the name zoom gives it. Within the folder it creates "recording.conf". Just rename the file to recording.conf and it should work. (Go figure)
