Public event list is not visible when logged in

Hi everyone,

Last year we've set up a one-day conference with several Zoom meetings that we shared with our members via the public event list page. The issue was that people could not see or access it while they were logged in with their Zoom account,  (see screenshot below, saying: "You need to sign in to view this page (404)). They were only able to see the public event list after they logged out.

This caused a lot of confusion and we would like to avoid this situation with this year's conference. Do you have any ideas if this is a bug or if we did something wrong in the settings?

Thanks a lot for your support!

Best regards,

Paul

Hi @paul_vierkant please make sure that the option List this meeting in the Public Event List is enabled and users are logged in to their account.

Check out the steps below to view and join public events:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. You can view the list of public meetings and webinars that you can join by signing into your Zoom account and hovering on the JOIN link at the top of the page.
  3. Click Public Event List.

Note: If this option is not available, the public event list has not been enabled for your account.

A calendar displays the list of meetings and webinars that are available for you to join or register for.public-event-list.png

  1. The events scheduled for today are displayed by default.
  2. If you do not see the event you are looking for, type the host name or topic, then click Search.
  3. To see events scheduled for a different day, click the date link to display a calendar, where you can choose a specific date.
  4. To show the events scheduled for the entire week, click Weekly.
  5. If you see the event you are looking for, do one of the following:
    • If the host has started the meeting or webinar, click the Join button.
    • If the event requires registration, click the Register link.
    • If the event has not yet started, click the link in the Topic column to display additional information about the event.
