Processor speed for using Zoom?

Hello, I havnt used ZOOM for multi-person chats yet only 1-on-one. I've only had 2 chats so far, however part way through, there are problems.

QUESTION: How do I test / check WHICH computer/person is at fault? me other the other person?

Device name DESKTOP-ARAUAVG
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
Device ID 1D1953DB-5F41-4908-AC70-D33D5066E804
Product ID 00325-97216-89468-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Touch support with 10 touch points

QUESTION: In the zoom app, where do I go to turn EVERYTHING off in zoom, except for the chat/voice, and screen-sharing (I am sharing my screen)

Are there any 'hidden' functions that Zoom periodically checks for, even though I'm not actively using them? Can these be turned off?
