Dear Zoom,
Please create a feature where the host can pin a comment in the chat and make it visible to everyone who enters the meeting late. If this is already a feature, please send an email to all users reminding them (along with a reminder that there is an option to mute partipants on entry). After two years of meetings constantly being interrupted by people typing into the chat, "Please resend the sign-in link..." I am convinced there is a better way 😂 Please send (our bosses) help.
Thank you!

This would be a game changer in Zoom to be able to pin important information in a Chat...otherwise we have to continuously paste the information.

This would be super valuable! Having to flood the chat over and over with the same link isn't great.
Given that it already exists in chat hopefully it can make it to meetings soon!

Actually, there is a better way - take a look at Zoom Notes. For participants that join using a Zoom account they can even access the note after the meeting ends or before the next meeting begins.

Certainly another way but not necessarily a better way - like Zoom chat, notes is useful in situations where the audience is returning or regular zoom users but in situations where they are not still requires you to prompt them to open the notes and access what you are directing them too.
Being able to pin a message in a meeting would allow you to have a static piece of comms presented to everyone in the meeting without them needing to take action to enable it - which is definitely a needed feature for Zoom

kevlavery is correct. Zoom is easy to use, but asking mobile or new users to find notes at the start of every meeting AND to have chat up is a lot. Chat is the default, and there are often rules or a single link that needs to be available for everyone. "link to sign up to speak" "link to homework", "question under discussion", "chat rules" are all things that might need to be available and currently they are posted again and again and again for new people who join.

You can pin a comment as a closed caption banner to the Zoom meetings visible to everyone who enters the meeting late. This is a text that displays on the meeting interface and is visible to all participants. You can accomplish this either using APIs or if you are not a developer there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you pin a static message or communication as a caption presented to everyone in the Zoom meeting without them needing to take action to enable it.
