On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Participants taking host

Hi,

I'm using zoom to run an online summer camp.  And we have a producer who hosts all the live workshops.  Participants are logging in to the workshops and taking host from our producer.  It is random and randomly our producer gets host back.  Sometimes they get co-host when they log in.  My settings are that co-host is not enabled.  So I'm not sure why this is happening.

Help!

Thanks

  1. Change/Update your Email Address Password that is associated with your Zoom Account
  2. Change/Update your Zoom Password
  3. Change the Zoom Host Key under you account profile

Some of that data has been shared and spread to others.
