Notification of person entering meeting

When a person enters a meeting, there is a beep notifying the host that the participant entered the meeting. The beep no longer happens. Is this something new? Can it be fixed?

This is a feature that can be enabled and disabled.

You can find it by clicking the "participants" tab on your meeting toolbar, then the 3 dot ellipses. There will be an option for "play sound when somebody joins or leaves". Photo attached.
