Get your Lightboard on! https://lightboarddepot.com & https://QWIKboard.io #remotework isn’t going away, in fact, it looks like it’s here to stay. Blow them away with a Lightboard and QWIKboard software. #lightboard #light-board #qwikboard #whiteboard #blackboard #glassboard

Hi @surfd4wg
Is there any way to avoid being mirrored with a setup like this? It's difficult to switch to from a telestrator.

Not sure I completely understand, would be happy to spend some time on a "zoom" to discuss. lmk.

With these lightboard type solutions you are writing left-to-right on glass, and the camera is seeing you from the other side, writing right-to-left - so you have to horizonal-flip your camera feed for the writing to appear correctly - but this flips you (the person) the wrong way around.
A right-handed person appears left-handed, wedding rings are on the right hand, and one cannot refer to left or right gestures.
I like the idea of the larger format, but being able to do the same thing digitally on a Wacom display, without inverting myself, and without all the cleanup, it's a hard sell.

I see. You could actually use QWIKboard.io as the illustration piece, and simply place the "person" on a layer behind it, then Chroma Key out the background... it achieves what the guy in the video does with his face, then he starts drawing a triangle in light blue. This can be done with OBS Studio and QWIKboard ... no wacom required, just need an iPad or touchscreen and QWIKboard.io. viola. The gear that the presenter talks about later in the video at around 1:18 is way too complex and quite frankly unnecessary. All of this can be achieved using OBS Studio (Free) and QWIKboard.io (also Free). Happy to discuss more.
After watching that youtube video, QWIKboard.io solves a lot of the problems that Alex Lindsay is talking about, and performs the functions of what he is trying to achieve, without the expensive hardware and no need to use Keynote. QWIKboard.io has the "Uber Stealth" feature that completely removes the frame and OBS Studio removes the background (Chroma Key) so all you see is the image/chart/drawing you want to illustrate and draw around - circle things, highlight things, etc.
QWIKboard.io = Software based Telestrator alternative.
