Is it possible to record multiple breakout rooms simultaneously?

I need to record all 4 breakout rooms created for an event. Is it possible?

Hello,

It is currently only possible to record in breakout rooms with local recording. The host must allow specific participants to record locally and it will only record the room the participant who is recording is in. Multiple participants can be given permission to record locally.

I want to see if there's an update on this. I have a large session with 5 - 10 breakout rooms.  I would like to ensure I have all the discussions recorded. Other than having one person in each room record locally, what options do I have?

I'm also interested in this ability. I teach over zoom and the participants like to review the recordings after the meeting. It would be nice to not have to rely on the students to record locally and share the video with me.

There is still no ability to automatically record Breakout Rooms, and no ability to record from Breakout Rooms to the Cloud.  Only manually-initiated local recordings by an attendee authorized to start a local recording is possible.

Can there be a functionality added to this update. It would be a very important feature to have. We run focus groups in University and need to record all of these focus groups to ensure that we can obtain detailed and accurate information. A zoom-enabled AI summary would also be very beneficial.

This still isn’t possible, and is unlikely to be implemented, in my opinion. The fact that a Meeting would then have multiple Cloud Recording streams being saved simultaneously out of what is technically a single meeting could be problematic. 

Also my opinion: Breakout Rooms really are intended as spaces where groups can gather to have open conversation without worrying about being recorded, and someone from the group makes notes and reports back to the main group in the regular meeting space.

There is a work-around I’ve used, involving the use of Zoom Events. Have a main session where the topics are presented and the desired individual session outcomes briefly discussed. Then have multiple concurrent meetings set up by topic. Attendees would exit the main session and join the individual topic session of their choice, each of which can be recorded individually. Then have a wrss as p-up session scheduled at the end where representatives from each session summarize their session’s content and further discussion can occur.

I too would like to request to Zoom that this feature be added to future upgrades. It would be incredibly helpful from a training perspective.
