Iphone 13 - Potrait with black sides

Hello

Using iPhone 13  for meetings and recordings.

Just wondering if there are any settings that I can use to remove the black side allowing full screen?

Positioning the phone landscape camera angle is too wide and the screen is not tall enough.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Hi @Sully23 , thank you for your contribution to the Zoom Community! I apologize for not being able to get to your post sooner. I don't believe there is a way to remove black bars from appearing in the mobile recording as this has to do with the supported aspect ratio of the device. However,  @Bort @J-Zoom-ATL my have some ideas? What do you guys think?

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

Unfortunately, there is nothing I am aware of on the Zoom-side of things that can be adjusted. I think this is caused by Zoom always recording in a 16:9 ratio, regardless of the ratio of video captured (portrait on a mobile device).

The only thing I can think of is editing the recording file to trim out the black sections on either side and then re-uploading to YT, but that might be beyond a simple fix you're looking for @Sully23
