Internal Microphone not working

For some reason my computer internal microphone is not working  so I brought a headset with microphone and that works perfectly except when I want to play music during a meditation the music does go thru to the meeting.  I can hear in my headphones but they can't hear anything.  When I do the share music option it cuts my microphone out so they can't hear me.  Any advice as to what has happened and how I can fix it.  Thank you.

Hello, normally, when you choose the button"share sounds" when you share the screen, others should be able to hear the music you play. This will not cut off your microphone. If the music sound is too loudly so that others can only hear the music sounds. In this case, i suggest you to lower down your music sound.  i hope this will help you.
