Waiting Room is enabled at an Account, Group and User level. Depending on your admin level access determines how you can disable the waiting room. See the options below and use the best one that suits your level of access:
Account
To enable Waiting Room for all users in the account:
Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit account settings.
In the navigation panel, clickAccount Management then Account Settings.
UnderSecurity, verify thatWaiting Roomis enabled.
If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, clickTurn On to verify the change.
(Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
Group
To enable Waiting Room for all members of a specific group:
Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit groups.
In the navigation panel, clickUser Management then Group Management.
Click the applicable group name from the list, then click theMeeting tab.
UnderSecurity, verify thatWaiting Roomis enabled.
If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, clickTurn Onto verify the change. Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level, and needs to be changed at that level.
