Note: TheGroup HD videosetting will use a higher amount of CPU and bandwidth (~2Mbps up/down). If you are experiencing network or CPU performance issues, you may want to disable Group HD video.
Account
To enable or disableGroup HD videofor all users in the account:
Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
In the navigation menu, clickAccount ManagementthenAccount Settings.
Click theMeeting tab.
UnderIn Meeting (Advanced), click theGroup HD videotoggle to enable or disable it.
If a verification dialog displays, clickEnableorDisableto verify the change.
(Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon
, and then clickLockto confirm the setting.
SelectStandard HD (720p)orFull HD (1080p), if applicable for your account.
Click Save.
Group
Note: If you signed up for a new Zoom account after August 21, 2021; or the New Admin Experience is enabled on your account, the Group Management page has been renamed to Groups.

Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit groups.
In the navigation menu, clickUser ManagementthenGroup Management.
Click the applicable group name from the list.
Click theMeetingtab.
UnderIn Meeting (Advanced), click theGroup HD videotoggle to enable or disable it.
If a verification dialog displays, clickEnableorDisableto verify the change. Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at the account level and needs to be changed at that level.

Bandwidth requirements for Group HD video
Standard HD (720p)
1-on-1 video calls:1.2Mbps (up/down)
Group video calls:2.6Mbps / 1.8Mbps (up/down)
Full HD (1080p)
1:1 video calls:
Receiving 1080p HD video requires a minimum of 3.0Mbps.
Sending 1080p video requires a minimum of 3.8Mbps.
Group video calls:
Receiving 1080p HD video requires a minimum of 3.0Mbps.
Sending 1080p video requires a minimum of 3.8Mbps.
