Perhaps Zoom is attempting to build an Apple-like walled garden with the AI features but I don’t need to work with 3 different task managers. Does anyone know if or how you can export the recommended task lists AI Meeting Summaries generates? I want a quick simple way to export the Zoom task list into the task manager app I’ve been using for the last 10 years thanks!

This thread indicates tasks can't be exported via the API (and no section for Tasks on API docs). I hope that changes soon. There is Task Management in the web portal for admins, but that seems more focused on admins editing tasks globally rather than exporting.
Will be copy-pasting for now 🙄

PLUS TEN. Every office app does a half-a**ed job of letting us collect tasks and action items, and none of them integrate effectively with one another without special add-ins.
The Zoom AI summaries and task identification are very good and are a MASSIVE win (take my money!), but somehow the product almost entirely negates the benefits and value by isolating the generated tasks from the task tracking systems that our teams actually use.
*No one* will ever use Zoom for primary task management. We have tasks coming from slack, email, meetings, documents, and random sticky notes on our desks, plus multiple task management systems (OS default; Asana; Jira not to mention Gmail, Docs, and Slack all doing the same half-baked nonsense).
The only chore for a Zoom task management capability is to (automatically) transfer the tasks to the system I already use.
While I'm here:
- Inefficient design; not expert-use friendly. We have to individually select tasks and "accept" them (without a bulk action apparently); it's super tedious to tweak the wording / edit them (have to click in to each title; can't see all the text at once if it overflows the width of the field); can't just copy-paste from the obvious list
- Navigation and hierarchy within zoom workspace is appalling. Like... "My Meetings" / Meetings I Hosted. It is mystifying that there is a button "create doc for the meeting" when... the AI has already created a summary? Which is somehow not available from the meeting object that generated the summary? But somehow I have to go to "My Docs" (these are not MY docs, they're AI meeting summaries) and into a Meeting Summary folder to get a copy/pasteable list of action items that I can then paste into the task management system that I actually use in order to rewrite and process them?

Exactly!
