Edit a Few Seconds Out of My Recording

Hello!

I would like to remove 20 seconds of my recording. It is in the middle of the recording. Is that possible? If so, how do I do that? When I isolate those 20 seconds using the trim feature it removes the entire recording and just saves the 20 seconds that I do not want.

I believe the Zoom video editor only lets you edit out portions of the recording at the beginning and end, but doesn't let you edit out portions in the middle.  It's a very basic editor.

If you need to edit out something in the middle, you need to download the recording from the Zoom cloud, take it into a editing program (Premiere, iMovie, Camtasia, etc.) edit out the portion you want, export the new file, and then put somewhere where people can view it. (YouTube, DropBox, Vimeo, etc.)
