Hi.

We have a client who sent us a direct invite link. We received the links in our email, however, when we try joining the meeting, it still says that Meeting is for Authorized Attendees only. We were able to join other meetings at their university. I can't seem to find any article/forum discussing this issue. May I know what's causing the issue here?

Hi @angelojimenez24

If this was a meeting that you registered for, and if the Host set on their end that Registrations each need to be approved, it may be that they have not yet/did not approve your registration.

If you were given a specific join-link for the Meeting, make sure you are using it to join - not just a Meeting ID and passcode for example.

Depending on the exact wording of the message you are getting - this may also relate to authentication.

You may need to be logged into a Zoom account (be authenticated with Zoom) to be able to connect. If you have a Zoom account, make sure you are logged-in to it with your client before joining the meeting.

Finally - if you are not part of the Host's organization - it may be that they have implemented extra security on their account, or for this meeting in particular, to not allow external guests into their meetings.

Hope this helps.

Rupert
