I heard that I could do zoom dictation however I am unsure how to begin.  Any help would be great!

Kass, I use what they call "closed captioning" for transcribing my meetings in real time (same feature, different name). 

 

I'm no expert, though - I learned about the feature via the links in the Managing closed captioning and live transcription support document.
