The Zoom Community will be placed in read-only mode January 9th, 2026 through January 22nd, 2026 to deliver you a new and improved community experience!

The community will still be accessible, however, the creation of any new discussions or replies will be temporarily unavailable. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Curious to know if Zoom’s audio properties are better-suited for artistic collab than Discord or Wh.

It seems like the audio here is much cleaner; I’d be willing to shell out the money each month for a platform that would allow my band mates and I to work in tandem (we live a fair distance from one another); Discord is forever lagging and WhatsApp is never loud enough. Do y’all have any thought/suggestions?

Hi @SammieSings

thanks for asking. You definitely give zoom a try 😃

In Zoom you can use the "original sound" setting to disable all audio input processing.

With this feature a lot of musicians offer lessons over zoom.

Just let us know, if you have further questions.
