Co hosts and alternative hosts

Can I set up an alternative host on the pro account and does the alternative host also have to have a pro account. Alternatively could I assign a co-host who could start the meeting if I am not there and would that person also need a paid account. I have looked at the help info but I’m still not sure.

hi, @ALOS

The alternate host must be a paid user of the same organization account as the host.

Alternate Host: Can initiate a meeting in place of the host. When the meeting starts, it becomes the host. When the original host joins the meeting, they become co-hosts.

Co-Host: During the meeting, the host assigns you a role, so you can be a co-host even if you are not a paid user.
