When running the downloaded EXE file, the new computer says that installations are possible only through the Microsoft "store". Zoom is not there and the offered solution is not clear. How can I use Zoom on this computer?

It is not clear what you did, but Zoom IS in the store. https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/xp99j3kp4xz4vv?hl=en-US&gl=US

Thank you, Storyhub.
There is still a problem running this link because of "S Mode". I switched it off ("one way" according to Microsoft) and then I could install and run Zoom.

Thank you, storyhub. I tested the link (that was not offered in "search") and there was a problem: a message said that the computer is in "S Mode", therefore cannot install app (even though it is in the "store"). I switched out of "S Mode" and then it was possible to install and run Zoom.
Please note that a least some Windows 11 computers come today with "S mode" "on" by default. Turning it off is "one way" according to the messages. It is annoying that we have to compromise security and performance for running essential app like Zoom.

Technically, (according to Microsoft) S mode SHOULD allow installations ONLY from the microsoft store. Personally, as a developer, audio engineer, and IT professional I have never been a fan of S Mode because it never seems to work the way Microsoft says it should work. That is one of many reasons why I use windows Pro.
