Hi!
I used to have active speaker working on Zoom for my recordings but no longer seem to have it. The fixes all point to choosing active speaker on that top right hand menu, but it's not there for me. It seems to have worked for me randomly but I'm not at a loss as to how I can have it reintroduced to my 'view' selections.
All I can see are Speaker / Gallery / Multi-Speaker / Immersive.
Is there something I need to do? Or has it been removed?
Neil

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @NeilJenkins.
Recordings are not affected by your View menu choices during the meeting, but rather by the recording settings you enable. These are in different places, depending on whether you’re doing a Computer Recording or a Cloud Recording.
Cloud Recording settings:

Local Computer settings are in the Recording tab of your Workplace app settings screen.

Thanks Ray. I used to have Active Speaker on the screen while recording and would still prefer that, as it confirms what will happen in the recording. However I'm glad you confirmed that the choice of screen layout won't affect the recording.
Thanks!
Neil
