Can I download or print a transcript of a meeting without recording it?

Sometimes in a meeting we talk about a lot of follow-up tasks. Even when I use captioning and view the transcript, the transcript disappears as soon as I end the meeting. How can I print the transcript without recording the meeting?

Unfortunately no, the transcription feature requires a Cloud Recording, as the transcript is generated from the Cloud Recording audio. See this Zoom Support article for details.

You might consider using the AI-enabled Meeting Summary instead, which includes a set of action items. It’s not perfect (yet!), but it’s pretty good. See this Zoom Support article for info on Meeting Summary:
