Automatically recording all users meetings

I have our zoom set up so that everybody's rooms automatically record. This works for everybody except for one user. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is happening or how to fix it. Anyone else ever had this issue?

I haven’t seen this specific situation, but I do hear of things like this all the time.

 

What I hear on occasion is that someone has “gone rogue” and created a Zoom login outside of the organization’s account. Is this person in your Admin > Users list?  If not, they’re controlling their own mini-account. 

 

Check that this particular user is not in a special group (that administrative space between Account and Users) that has some special settings.

 

Also check that the recording setting is Locked at the Admin level. If enabled but not locked, Recording is the default, but a user can change their own settings.
