I am unable to annotate even though i have activate the annotate button

If you are the Host, sharing your own screen/content, I would check your Annotation settings at https://zoom.us/profile/setting and then ensure you are on the up-to-date version of Zoom.

I also have had this issue. I have an account with a monthly subscription. Even though my annotation control is turned onto "Allow saving of shared screens with the annotation" I still don't see any annotation tools in the screens I am sharing or the screens shared with me. Screen attached.
Regardless of what instructions I find online to fix this, either they are already set to look like annotate should be avail, or I encounter instructions that aren't called the same thing as the current zoom version. ANy help is appreciated. Thanks.
