We are currently using Zoom for our conference room of 38' x 43' with a mounted iPad (2017) and projector for video.
We are needing to configure the iPad to simultaneously receive microphone audio from a large room and output audio to the speakers installed in the space. We have tried virtually everything to attempt to do so, including basic audio splitters, Bluetooth receivers, etc., but are unable to connect an area microphone to the iPad in order to have everyone in the room heard through to the members on Zoom. The iPad still forces its internal mic to collect audio.
Virtually every AV company we have called cannot figure this out.
Question: Is an iPad capable of simultaneously collecting microphone audio and sending audio to external speakers for this purpose? Or will we need to upgrade to another device?
