Zoom Webinar

Hi,
What happens if I'm hosting a webinar, advancing slides (with no co-host), and I lose connectivity during the event?  Does the webinar end for everyone?

Thanks!

Hi, @kcapone,

Have you already had this experience? It’s scary!!  It’s happened to Webinars I’ve been attending, fortunately none that I’ve been hosting.

If you are Host and there are no cohosts, all attendees will be put into a room similar to a Waiting Room – sort of a holding room. For how long, I’m not sure. But if you rejoin in a certain amount of time, everyone will be joined back into the session.

If you do have assigned cohosts, one of them will take over as Host, and the Webinar will remain intact. When you rejoin the meeting, you will have the option of Reclaiming Host

Moral of the story: always assign someone as cohost — preferably someone not on the same network as you.
