Online via the support pages it says that limitations of simulive for a zoom session is attendees cannot join from a mobile browser and it says the same thing for Zoom Events simulive, but an AE from zoom just emailed me and said mobile is supported. Can you attend simulive sessions on a mobile browser or not? I can't get a straight answer and have been on hold with technical support for over 30 minutes

imitations of Zoom Events simulive webinars

  • Hosts cannot speak to or appear on live video in front of the webinar attendees.
  • Hosts and panelists can only use the chat, Q&A, and resources (webinar and simulive) features to communicate with attendees during the session.
  • Only speaker view is selected in recordings, even if you recorded with multiple views.
  • Hosts can’t add multiple hub recordings to a single simulive webinar.
  • Users must join from desktop computers to view simulive webinars.

Are you able to test for yourself? This would be (unfortunately) the most definitive answer.

If you trust your AE, go for it.
Zoom KB articles are frequently inaccurate and out of date (which is extremely frustrating, as these are customer-facing). The article you linked was last updated 11/21/23, so you'd need to consult release notes since then to see if anything has changed.
